The two-kilometer-long To\u0107 beach with its promenade is the heart of all events, during the day it is filled with bathers enjoying one of the sunniest spots on the coast, and at night it is the heart of summer parties, cafes, and restaurants serving traditional cuisine. Guests can enjoy various activities such as diving school, paragliding, water skiing, scooter rental, and tennis courts. The Fishermen’s Festival, which is organized several times during the summer, is also famous, where guests enjoy the charms of traditional dishes and music. Daily organized boat trips to nearby coves are also available, as well as trips to nearby towns – National Park Krka, Split, and Trogir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sights in Okrug Gornji: \u2022 Church of St. of Charles Borromeo – 300 years old, \u2022 Church of St. Teodor – more than 500 years old. In the inner wall of the church is carved the oldest known tombstone with the name of the deceased – Petar U\u017eigovi\u0107 (Pietro Uzigovic) and the year 1580, next to which are carved a hoe, a hammer, and a scythe, which describe the activity the deceased was engaged in during his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only 2 kilometers from Okrug is Trogir, which is under the protection of UNESCO.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
